I would 4- agree regarding the statement that the hands-on approach to this activity added to how much I was able to learn.

4. What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?

I'm not sure how else the lab could have been improved to make it even better because the only thing that would allow us to gain more knowledge on the topic is if we flew the UAVs ourselves which is obviously not plausible.

I thought the hands on experience of this lab really helped us to learn how to navigate using the GPS unit.

I thought the hands on experience of this lab really helped us to learn how to navigate using only a map and a compass as well as how to create a proper navigation map. I can't think of anything I would change to improve this lab.

I think it would be nice to have larger groups so that there are more people to work with and trouble shoot with since the equipment is rather difficult to work with.

I really enjoyed this activity because it was straight forward and easy to understand how to conduct the field data collection using the instruments. I cannot think of anything that I would recommend to improve the activity.

I think that this activity was great and I don't know of anything that I could recommend to make this activity any better.

I think that this activity was as hands on as possible given the material that we were discussing. I really benefited from the in class help from the professor and my fellow students.

I would 3- have no real opinion regarding the statement that the hands-on approach to this activity added to how much I was able to learn. 

4. What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?

I think it would have been nice to have been given more background information on the various types of UAV air crafts in a lecture rather than digging on the internet to learn about them ourselves. I really enjoyed doing the flight simulations though and thought that added a lot the overall activity.

4. What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?

I don't think there are any learning strategies that I would recommend to improve this activity. I really benefited from the ability to work with my fellow classmates to trouble shoot any problems we had throughout the interpolation application in ArcMap.

I would recommend having smaller group sizes to make this activity better. While it was nice to have a total of 5 students in a group to bounce ideas off of I feel like it would challenge each individual's critical thinking if the groups were smaller.
